The complete records of the daily proceedings of theContinental Congress as kept by the office of its secretary,Charles Thomson. The Journals were printed contemporaneouslyin different editions and in several subsequent reprinteditions, although none of these editions included the"Secret Journals," confidential sections of the records,which were not published until 1821. This complete edition,originally published by the Library of Congress and nowreprinted by Hein, contains these "Secret Journals" and isbased on the manuscript of the Journals and other manuscriptrecords of the Continental Congress in the ManuscriptDivision of the Library of Congress. A DVD containing thecomplete contents of the set is also available.
