This is a collection of miscellaneous manuscript reportsfrom the Court of Chancery dating from 1714 to 1730, thetime of Chancellors Lord Cowper, Lord Macclesfield, and LordKing and the Master of the Rolls, Sir Joseph Jekyll. Thefollowing three manuscripts have been conflated and printedhere: Lincoln's Inn MS. Misc. 506 contains most of the"Cases Argued and Adjudged in the High Court of Chancery andin the Court of Exchequer." Lincoln's Inn MS. Misc. 380,part 2, is a set of 22 anonymous Chancery reports, whichcovers the period 1718 to 1725. British Library MS. Hargrave83, part 1, pp. 1-76, is a set of 66 anonymous Chanceryreports, which covers the period 1720 to 1730. Selectedcases are included from other miscellaneous manuscripts aswell.
