The IRL school at Cornell is the only institution of highereducation offering a full four-year undergraduate program inindustrial and labor relations, and the school's facultyconsists of the largest concentration of scholars in thefield. Its not surprising that one of the most consultedjournals in the area of labor relations, The Industrial andLabor Relations Review, began being published at the ILRschool in 1947 and has remained an important source forscholarly research on all issues impacting labor. Thejournal consists of 6-7 medium-length (15-20 pages) researcharticles, book reviews on recent books on labor topics, and"Research in Progress" arranged by subject specialities suchas labor and employment law; labor economics; humanresources, management, and personnel.
