This pioneering work was not superseded until the twentiethcentury, and it helped to initiate serious inquiry intoearly English law texts. Joseph Story used it when hestudied the Year Books. In 1843 it was reprinted andappended to Bouvier's Law Dictionary. The second partcontaining the laws of William the Conqueror is printed inthree columns containing the text in Norman, Latintranslations by a Dr. Wilkins and English translations byKelham.
