Nancy P. Johnson’s legacy in the law librarian profession is one that will not be forgotten. Nancy was a librarian, teacher, mentor, and the author of several books on legal research, including Sources of Compiled Federal Legislative Histories. She will always be remembered as a woman who pioneered the importance of law libraries to students, faculty, the university, and the legal profession. Below is a summary of Nancy’s professional life, written by her dear friend and colleague, Ronald Wheeler, who currently serves as the Director of the Law Library & Information Resources and Associate Professor of Legal Research at Suffolk University Law School in Boston, MA.
