Report and Recommendations

The Antitrust Modernization Commission was created pursuant to the Antitrust Modernization Commission Act of 2002. The Commission was established to examine whether the need exists to modernize the antirust laws and to identify and study issues; to solicit the views of all parties concerned with the operation of the antitrust laws; to evaluate the advisability of proposals and current arrangements with respect to any issues identifies; and to prepare and submit to Congress and the President a report. This report, the 24th installment in Hein’s Electronic Documents Reprint Series, sets forth the Commission’s recommendation and findings on how antitrust law and its enforcement can best serve consumer welfare in the global, high-tech economy that exists.
